Our Trainer

SREC is a USHJA Recognized Riding Academy. Our owner/trainer, Jolene Hasseler, has over 30 years of experience. She earned her Bachelors in Equine Science from Morrisville State College in 2001 and regularly attends clinics with world-renowned riders and trainers. She has been teaching and training professionally since 2001 and earned her USHJA Trainer Certification in 2010. Jolene coaches an IEA Team as well as the hunt seat and western IHSA teams for SUNY Brockport.

Lesson Prices

Group Lessons (2-4 Riders)

$45/Rider, 1 hour in duration

Private Lessons (1 Rider)

$50/Rider, 45 minutes in duration

Please Note: 24 hours notice is required in case of cancellation. If you do not let Jolene know 24 hours in advance, you WILL be charged in full for that missed lesson.

Please arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to you lesson in order to be tacked up and mounted at the time your lesson is scheduled to begin. For new students, your first few lessons will include learning how to catch, groom, tack, and untack your horse. We teach horsemanship here, NOT just riding!
